THE MIRROR: The Intelligent Tabloid
The Daily Mirror is a British national daily tabloid newspaper founded in 1903. It is owned by parent company, Reach PLC, one of Britain's biggest newspaper groups, publishing over 240 regional papers along with The Mirror. They merged with the regional newspaper group Trinity to form Trinity Mirror. The paper has consistently supported the Labour party since the 1945 general election. They call themselves 'the intelligent tabloid'. They seem to stand up for ordinary people. The TA of the daily Mirror is predominantly C2DE, over 35 and are working class Labour supporters. 

THE SUN: Everything Under the Sun
The Sun is a tabloid newspaper published in the UK and Republic of Ireland. As a broadsheet, it was founded in 1964 as a successor to the Daily Herald, and became a tabloid in 1969 after it was purchased by it's current owner. It is owned by News UK which is part of NewsCorp, founded by Rupert Murdoch. They have a right-wing conservative political bias. It is the number 1 bestselling print UK newspaper and has a digital reach of over 40 million each month, reaching over 500k everyday. In print. they have a primarily male C2DE right-wing audience with an average age of 49, whereas online and on Facebook and Snapchat, their audience is more female and younger. They have 4 core content pillars at the centre of the sun, News, Football, Family Value and UK TV and Celebrity. 

THE TIMES: Most Informative and Considered Journalism in the UK
The Times is a British daily national broadsheet newspaper based in London. It's Britain's oldest daily national newspaper. It began in 1785 as The Daily Universal Register, adopting it's current name in 1788. It is owned by News UK which is part of NewsCorp, founded by Rupert Murdoch. Online, you have to subscribe to read their articles and can subscribe to Times+ for deals on movies and cinema. It should contain 'something suited to every palette. Their TA is largely middle class, with 6.3 million of their readers being ABC1, predominantly male, living in London, in Business and right-wing Conservative supporters. 

METRO: All the stories you need to know
Metro is the UK's highest-circulation print newspaper, published in tabloid format by DMG media. It is distributed on public transport networks and high-traffic commuter zones throughout the UK for free, the majority of copies are picked up from Metro bins/racks and their target distribution strategy ensures that it is picked up by the right people everyday of the working week. their TA is ABC1 young workers on public transport. They lean slightly to the left of politics.
